How can I give?

How can I volunteer?
We are always looking for new volunteers that have all different skills, talents, abilities and time availabilities! Apply to be a volunteer here.
Who can apply for help?
Any family with a child 0-18 who has a prolonged diagnosis may apply for assistance from VV, using the form on our website.
How do you decide who to fund?
Our client coordinator will review all applications that are completed. Please be sure when asking for assistance to attach any bills you need paid to the application! Once these are reviewed, the client coordinator will be in touch within about 10 business days to let you know if/how VV can assist.
What kind of needs do you fulfill?
At VV, we know each family is unique. We help families prioritize their needs, so we can best able to assist them. Rent, utility bills, transportation are our most common asks.
Do you ever provide cash assistance?
No. VV will directly pay the vendor or send the family gift cards (gas, grocery, etc.).
Who are Viv’s Kids?
Viv’s Kids are the children whose families who have received assistance from VV. To meet some of them, click here!
What is Grant’s Gifts?
Grant’s Gifts is a program of Vivian’s Victory dedicated to providing hard-to-find preemie clothing for families with a preemie.
What are your average gift amounts?
Our gifts range from $150-$4,000, with the average being just over $500/family. We accept any gift though, big or small!
Can you donate toys or gently used items?
We accept very gently used toys beginning October 1 for our Santa Shop which takes place the week before Christmas.
How is Vivian's Victory unique compared to other nonprofits that support families with hospitalized children?
We see families with children 0-18 seen in any specialty care unit and offer practical financial assistance like rent, grocery/gas cards, and other necessities. In some cases, we help enable discharge such as transportation to follow up medical appointments and purchase of special medical equipment. If you want to be a part of it, donate here!
How long does it take to find out if we've been funded?
Typically it takes 10 business days for an application to be received, reviewed and responded to.
Do you provide funding only in the Cincinnati area?
Families do not need to be native of the Cincinnati area to receive assistance.
Can you help with material needs, such as refrigerators, washers/dryers, cars, etc.?
YES! Although we can’t promise anything, we will definitely try! Click here to apply for exactly what you need.
